Eighteen years ago, a record store guy - who knew I
liked the dB's, etc., turned me on to Big Star.  Like
many have said, it was an epiphany.  I loved it that
much, as evidenced by the fact that I immediately
named my then-new kitten "Alex," who - BTW - is doing
fine all these years later.
