I was sick of the Doors by the summer of '67! The first two albums still sound good, but I can hardly play 'em. I saw them in June of '67 just as Light My Fire was hitting #1. Mediocre band, and Jim was just a drunk, who grunted a lot. The continued devotion to them escapes me.
