This is fabulous news....the Phil Seymour comp that came out in the 90's was nice, but was lacking so many great tracks that I rarely listen to it now. Of course Phil didn't co-write any of the classic Twilley band tracks (as the blurb said), but he did sing quite a few, including my favorite DTB track "You Were So Warm". Twilley still says something nice about Phil in his shows to this day. The first Phil album may be as close as you can get to a Dwight Twilley Band album after the break up as it features Bill Pitcock IV on guitar, and two (at the time) unreleased Twilley songs...one of which "Then We Go Up" is as great as anything he ever wrote in my opinion. By the way...Twilley recently recorded two shows here in Tulsa for possible (and probable) release as a live album and DVD. Guests included Susan Cowsill on vocals.
