Go to TV.com (formerly TV Tome) http://www.tv.com/the-midnight-special/show/2974/summary.html?q=midnight+special They have an archive of the Midnight Special shows. And until the DVD comes out, go to the Museum of Television and Radio in LA or NY. They have many (all?) of the shows ready for instant viewing. They also have some other great rock performances. I don't think they have Don Kirshner, but I guarantee you will find plenty to keep you entertained. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave Seaman" To: Sent: Tuesday, September 27, 2005 9:51 AM Subject: I have a dream... > > << the individual concert and all the songs/cover art are there under that > link.>>> > > I have a dream that someday I'll be able to revisit the halcyon days of my > rock and roll tot-hood by re-watching old "Don Kirshner's Rock Concert" > and > Midnight Special" shows, circa early to mid seventies, in their entirety. > Same with the first 4-5 seasons of "Saturday Night Live".
