I'll second all this talk about how great the Turtles are. I didn't realize their stuff was out of print, Amoeba here in LA has a steady stock of most of their releases. Maybe they are used and I never noticed! I'd also highly recommend the Turtles DVD Rhino put out a while back. Highly entertaining. anna --- DethRokrX@aol.com wrote: > > In a message dated 9/17/05 11:08:18 PM, > audities-owner@smoe.org writes: > > << Are any of non-best of Turtles or Flo and Eddie > albums worth seeking out? > >> > > Just about all of them, if you can find them. > > Despite their image as lightweight pop hitmakers, > the Turtles made wonderful, > creative records for most of their career, despite > some soul-crushing > business problems, and their albums were > surprisingly filler-free.
