<> Chris - re: THE SEEN "Under The Sun/In The Rain" did make it to CD for a 20th anniversary edition with a few bonus tracks. It is excellent. As a Penn State student in the mid-80's, The Seen were my favorite local band and I used to go see them play live as much as possible. They had a whole Paul Weller/Jam vibe to them down to the Rickenbackers. Doug used to work at City Lights, the cool record store under street-level, and Glenn Sadin (guitar) used to work in a similar record shop called Ameoba Records. They rarely played bars, instead playing student-union type events and were very popular. I heard they played a rousing show at Penn State's annual "Arts Festival" the same year as the anniversary CD came out. Scheduling prevented me from making the show, but I heard from Doug's old boss at City Lights that there may be a video floating around of it and I'd sure like to see that. I have no idea if "UTS/ITR" is still available. If you're can't find it anywhere, contact me off-list and I can make you a copy. It's great stuff.
