That's a very good question indeed.  I wonder if any
of the original members were even asked to
participate.  Billy J. Kramer flew in from Liverpool
(and boy were his arms tired!).  Seriously...I can
understand Dave Clark not wanting to step onstage as
protective as he is of the DC5 legacy.  Hard to
understand why any of the other 3 did not join
in...even if they only played their instrument and
didn;t sing.  I hear they all still play in some
fashion.  Maybe because it was a Mike Smith
tribute...not specifically a DC5 tribute.  DOn;t
know...good question.

There was a very very moving video-taped message from
Mike Smith thanking everyone for participating.  You
can tell that it is very difficult for him to even
speak.  What a sad tragedy.  Such a talented guy with
a voice for the ages.  But, he seems to have a
wonderful attitude about it all.
