"Fine" was written by Ronnie Mack and produced by "Bright Tunes 
Productions" aka The Tokens of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" fame. Ronnie 
Mack passed away shortly from cancer in 1963 right before "Fine" became 
a hit.  The people that sued Harrison for infringement were the song's 
publishing company.

Learning about Spector's bizzare sense of humor over the years via books 
and magazines, etc,  I bet Spector knew and got a kick out of copying
