He'll record anyone and charge with consideration to your budget. Recording Bush probably paid for some tasty gear. A pro should be able to record a band they don't like and help them make the best pile of crap they are capable of creating. :) I love the sound on the recent Robbie Fulks albums - not to mention his work with The Pixies and Jawbreaker.
