I don't think he's been inconsistent when explaining his method of
choosing acts to record.  He'll record anyone and charge with
consideration to your budget.  Recording Bush probably paid for some tasty
gear.  A pro should be able to record a band they don't like and help them
make the best pile of crap they are capable of creating. :)

I love the sound on the recent Robbie Fulks albums - not to mention his
work with The Pixies and Jawbreaker.  He has a massive list of credits.
