I report:

Mr. Dando told me, when I last saw him play here in Dewey Beach,
Delaware, that he was about to go out on tour with the Dictators (!). He
was very excited about the idea. I think it was just last year that he
was here (the summers tend to run together for me, so it coulda been the
year before). Anyway, he put on a fine, rockin' show for us. He seemed
sober and "clear" when I met him. We talked about the MC5 and stuff. He
really struck me as a nice guy. Looked me steadily in the eye, shook my
hand, played all his stuff without error and with passion, etc. I love
those two Lemonheads albums and I just LOVE his voice matched with
Juliana Hatfields, both on his records and hers.
