I relate to what you said as a "listener".When asked if I play a musical instument,I always reply that I just listen. That was my gift. The ability to really hear music.Yesterday, with the house to myself [family is gone to the cabin] I made a pile of stuff I wanted to hear. All kinds of Swedish pop,Hoagy Carmichael[a genius!],Ornette Coleman,Ashley Park,Spoon,Ron Sexsmith,Essex Green,Tan Sleeve,Tift Merritt,Manic St.Preachers,Orange Juice, some Brazillian music,Sarah Vaughn[my favorite singer ever!]and some Vaughan Williams-and that was just 1 pile. There was a couple more.Still making my way through all that.
