I went to the Jason Falkner show at Spaceland last
Saturday.  My friends The Brokedown opened, so a good
time was had by all.  Maybe too good a time...

Jason was maybe the best I've seen him...well, I saw
him in Philadelphia several years back, and that was
pretty good because he had been on tour for a while
and his band was tight.  But this show was good in
that, for ONCE, a band played almost all new songs,
songs I didn't know, and I actually still liked them! 
So, the new record will be really great.  

I can't really say what he played because it was
almost all new.  Really fun, though.

He's playing the Sunset Junction street fair by my
house Aug. 27 or 28...the Walkmen are also playing
along with several other great acts.  Otherwise, not
sure what his plans are.
