> Dude! I totally WAS in the KISS Army when I was eight; I was crushed when my older brothers wouldn't take me to Kiss w/Cheap Trick in '76 or '77 - why a couple of high school guys didn't want to take a nine year old to the social event of the year is beyond me. I didn't know who Cheap Trick was until my brother brought home "Heaven Tonight" a year or so later - it was the coolest album cover I'd seen since "Dressed To Kill". No one argued about music in the town I grew up in. We were allowed to bring records to our junior high art class - and I had no competition - ever. Other kids thought my music was weird - Police, Knack, Pink Floyd (Wall), Pretenders, Tom Petty - I was out there! Lee Elliott
