I'm not amazed.  It was wrong for me.

I think this (by the way, did you notice it was a 7-up ad?) takes something 
simple and disguises it as complex.  At the front end you start with any 
4-digit number-- why, that's 10,000 possible numbers!  But really, it is 
guessing one out of nine (you pick one digit and it can't be a zero.)
