Songs for Silverman - Ben Folds's newest release, really sounds like
it is Ben Folds Five's 4th album.

I'm not saying that it sounds anything like ST or whatever, or even
Messner...  but it sounds like the direction they were headed after
Messner... it sounds like if they had stayed together, this is the
album they would have put out.  First of all, the obvious, he is back
to piano, drums, and bass.  Then there is the whole mood/tone of the
album...  the lyrics, some of them seem to be answers to questions
posed in Messner, similar themes, and very introspective.  In the
music, similar piano arrangements.
