On another side note...I just played "Crazy Horses" by The Osmonds to kick off the radio show last Friday afternoon. Or was it Saturday? My life is a blur sometimes. I've got it on vinyl but never bothered to transfer it to CD because of a few clicks here and there. I played the song from a CD that was officially released. Of course, it wasn't the original album but a compiliation. There's even some sort of video bonus but I haven't taken the time to view it. I don't know if I've thrown it out there before on this list but listening to the early Osmond material like "Crazy Horses" gives me the impression that this is where KISS got there sound from. Coincidence? I mentioned this on the air and "oh my gosh" - the Kiss Army called me up non stop for almost thirty minutes. You'd think that I was political talk show host trying to tick off the audience to stir calls. KISS fans didn't think it was in the least bit funny. Seriously listen to those rock songs from The Osmonds (before all the Donny ballads) and you'll not only hear KISS but some of those heavy metal acts from the eighties. Has anyone ever been to Branson? Do they do these songs in their performance?
