Bruce McDonald's new movie THE LOVE CRIMES OF GILLIAN GUESS uses "Love Vibration" in a Bollywood-style song and dance number, and that let me to that album, which I adore. Aha! Sounds like a vision. I'll have to check that film out. Also discovered Broken Social Scene through that movie: I've lost track of the number of times I've played "Anthems for a 17-Year-Old Girl" in the last six months. (Any word from the Canadian Contingent on Feist's solo record? That *is* her singing on that song, right? The credits are obscure.) I think it's Emily Haines singing on "anthems", but I couldn't swear to it. Feist's newest solo record (there's a couple at least), Let it die is wonderful, varied fare. Montreal loves her because of the record: she's come back to town since its issue couple times to meet the performance demand. And she gives a great show, so if you get the chance to see and hear her live... Rick
