I was listening to Weekend Edition-Sunday on NPR this past Sunday morning and they interviewed her on the making of The Who Sell Out album and another album she put out with Bill Frisell. The interview contained some clips from both albums, so you may want to give the interview a listen to see if you would like her approach to the album As for my 2 cents..I think her versions are interesting. I am not sure if it is worth repeated listenings... Here is a link to the interview... http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4524497 -------------- Original message -------------- > I have been waiting for someone on Audities to endorse this one.I have read > mixed reviews.Put it this way,if this is your favorite Who album[it is mine] > do you think I may be turned off by it.Believe me I have an open mind. But > this one scares me a bit. > > >From: robbie.white@comcast.net > >Reply-To: audities@smoe.org > >To: audities@smoe.org > >Subject: Petra Hayden CD > >Date: Fri, 11 Mar 2005 11:30:30 +0000 > > > >If this has been mentioned here before, I apologize.
