Saw Eric Carmen on his 1st Solo Tour open for Sweet back in March 1976. 
Carmen backed by the band Magic (a local Cleveland band) who recorded with Eric on 
his solo album. Ex-Raspberries Michael McBride was also part of the 2 drummer 
band. Carmen put on a high energy 1 hour set and even performed Raspberries 
songs: "Overnight Sensation", "Starting Over" and "Go all the Way". With the 
extra musicians: "Overnight Sensation" sounded just like the record! Eric Carmen 
"Blew the Sweet off the stage" and we left 4 songs into their set.
