I can highly recommend the solo disc by Charlotte Hatherley the guitarist from Ash. It came out last year and it's called Grey To Fade. Has two or three of my favourite songs of the last few months, bit poppier than the recent Ash stuff, especially liking Summer and Bastardo if you want to check something out. Her site has links to her videos, I can recommend the Bastardo video. It's directed by Edgar Wright who directed Shaun Of The Dead and the UK series Spaced and it stars a whole bunch of well known faces from some of the best UK comedy from recent times...Little Britain, Nighty Night, The Office as well as Lauren Laverne from the sadly missed Kenickie. A surprising thumbs up.
