For the flip side to the question: Off the top of my head, I know I have retained vinyl and CD releases of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Elvis Costello. Heck... for EC's This Years Model, I have retained 3 CD reissues (Demon, Ryko and Rhino) and the US and UK vinyl releases. And we all know that I don't really need 5 releases of the same album! I with you on the Go-Go's...I never did update to the CD versions, but I also bought Return to the Valley Of The Go-Go, since it was more of an anthology and contained a lot of unreleased stuff. ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Wednesday, February 09, 2005 11:01 AM Subject: Re: SMITHEREENS > > In a message dated 2/9/05 10:47:22 AM, markeichelberger@comcast.net writes: > > > > It would be interesting to see how many other Audites members have vinyl > > copies of releases that they chose not to update to the CD format > > > > Hmmm..off the top of my head: > > Let's Active > R.E.M.
