Ah yes the Smithereens. What a killer band. Especially For You came 
out shortly after I moved to a new city, and state, and I remember
riding around on my bike listening to it on my walkman endlessly. 
 Bought Green Thoughts on my honeymoon and turned my bride into 
a smithereens fan.
 Saw them a few months later, one of the best shows I have seen.
Pat got so mad at his guitar he smashed it ala Townshend. Great
covers etc. 
Years later my 15 year old has stolen my Smithereens albums.
