I've never read or heard that, but I'm not the world's biggest Elton John fan either -- I just find it hard to swallow that the record company would push for that much new stuff in that period of time. I went online and did a little research (and whether it's wrong or right, who knows?), and read he re-signed with MCA on or around July 19, 1974 for a five album deal worth $8 million (it was the most lucrative recording contract in rock history at the time). I find it a little hard to believe it was for 2-3 albums per year, that's all. Bryan
