Gotta chime in on Flowers in the Dirt. I was in retail at the time of
it's release, and the disc stayed in store rotation long after it fell
off the charts / stopped being promoted. We dug it! Of course, if Cliff
H. were still posting to this list, he'd tell ya that *I* was the only
one digging it and I just made everyone else listen to it until they all
went Macca-nuts <grin>. I did that with EBTG's "Idlewild" for so long
(years!) that the visiting regional manager finally heard enough of it
one day and literally pulled it out of the cd player, broke it and
tossed the remains. Ha!
