Just found out that as of Jan 15, Good Microbrew will no longer be having live music.  For those of you that don't know Good Microbrew is a cool little restaurant in Silverlake CA.  Good food, lots of beer choice and they make a mean mojito.  Every Friday and Saturday they had a couple of acoustic or semi acoustic acts.  Some of the artist I saw there were  Lisa Jenio (Candypants),  Waking Hours duo of Tom and Ricky,  Rush Hour (formerly known as Bat Country) and Ben Forrest Davis (former drummer of Sugarcult who is now branching out on his own).  I spoke with the guy who books the bands and he didn't really give me a straight answer about why they were stopping the live music but he hoped they could start things up again in few months.   And next week Lisa Mychols was supposed to play...... :-(
