Just an observation that probably proves nothing besides the fact that I'm a bit out of the loop, but I have to say I've been stunned by the recent Franz Ferdinand thing, sort of. I like the record a lot, but the surprising part for me is that FF is getting all the attention (and a lot of well-deserved acclaim) while a similar act, The Killers, are going comparatively unnoticed. For my part, I thought the Killers record was a LOT better than FF, although I understand why some of you might disagree with me. And NO mention of The Format and The Faint, and very little on the subject of Interpol. Hunh. -- ___________________________________________________________ Sam Smith 1522 Four Mile Rd.
