Pain in my butt Vermin!! Let's see.....they all dress in mid-60's era paisley. They bring a gaggle of girls with them, all good looking and dressed in mid-60's era paisley mini's and they look hot (Dave???). They lead singer is also the keyboard player....he's got a distinctive voice and a crazy no-holds-barred style of hammerring away at the keys while singing...sort of a melodic / power pop version of Jerry Lee Lewis if you will. He even jumps back and forth over the keys during the song...and, at the end, dove from the speaker ONTO the keys. Oh yeah...he is actually very talented playing the thing as well. Bass player is a killer virtuoso...the guy just masters the thing. THey have tight harmonies.....strong melodic pop tracks ...and overall, put on a really good stage show. hey had difficulty with their sound and equipment that night, so it is tough to judge them musically live, but I really really dig the CD. Indeed, if you like Jellyfish / Crowded house style pop...melodic, a bit quirky, harmonies all over the place.....sort of Minster Hill like at times....you will like this band! There you go Verminator! Jaimie Vernon wrote: At Date: Thu, 13 Jan 2005 10:30:40 Mark wrote: > >The Queue >A Philly band with influences from The Beatles to Jellyfish...to Crowded >House and beyond.
