Yeah, kinda like what the actual nominating folks do. As for Todd, he's created an enviable body of work over a sustained period of time, he's had hit records, he's gotten critical acclaim, written and recorded some great songs. Plus his girlfriend was a Playboy Playmate. Add non-performer credits as producer of Badfinger and The New York Dolls (among many others), and the question becomes why WOULDN'T anyone think him worthy? (And I come at this from the opposite perspective; I'm not that big of a fan. I like some of his '70s stuff, I like The Nazz, and "Couldn't I Just Tell You" will likely always be one of my all-time faves, but my favorite Todd album is Deface The Music, so my credentials as a Todd fan are immediately suspect.
