I'm almost jealous...to be able to experience the Kinks Kanon...anew? Wow!

I love the Kinks and all their eras. Depending what type of music you/they
might enjoy more I'd say...

classic era: Face To Face or Village Green Preservation Society
slightly later: *Lola vs... or Muswell Hillbillies
arena rock: *Schoolboys In Disgrace or Word Of Mouth
uncommon choice but some great stuff: Think Visual
collection: To The Bone (try to find the double cd version)...acoustic/arena
versions of a great setlist
(*=my two favorites)

Look for the Velvel or later Castle versions. Avoid the Reprise versions
like the plague. My advice - hit the lottery and but them the whole
Katalogue!
