...speaking of Taiyo Yuden CD's, when the Beatles Remaster Reissues were released a couple of years ago in Japan (the first 24-Bit Beatles remasters in which were invested over 200 hours of remastering and very specific turntables and phono carts were used in "lifting" the virgin vinyl source)... when these remasters were released the discs were specifically copied onto Taiyo Yuden... I wasn't aware of these HQ discs until I looked into the remastered series...matter of fact there's one auction on Ebay offering 100 of them for about $26 silver bottom and all... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=41791&item=5143082227&rd=1 Miguel ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott" To: Sent: Saturday, December 04, 2004 10:17 PM Subject: Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs > According to a DVD thread at cdrlabs, just about any stack of CDs with the > "Made in Japan" mark are Taiyo Yuden, which is considered the gold standard > in optical media.
