I don't know about that but certainly, I've had to change my 
opinion of Green Day on the strength of *American Idiot* 
Being associated with the likes of Simple Plan, Sum 41 and 
Blink 182 doesn't help but to these ears *American Idiot* of 
the better major label POP/ROCK albums in 2004. And i 
adore "Boulvevard of Broken Dreams" - what a great pop 
song...
