Beth, A few you might want to spend some time with: Vince Guaraldi - Cast Your Fate to the Wind; and there's also another Peanuts related album that's not holiday specific Antonio Carlos Jobim - find a good collection. You probably have some overlap with the Gilberto but this will open it up some more. I have a Verve compilation that I simply love. Bill Evans - there's a LOT out there, I've always liked his trio work. Personally, I don't think this is entirely off topic, as I've always thought these folks have a particular affinity for great melody lines. -craig -------------- Original message -------------- > Its that time of year where I get to listen to probably one of my favorite > albums of all time - Vince Guaraldi playing the music from The Peanuts Christmas > special. > > While I could and do listen to this over and over and over and over, I was > thinking that it might be good to branch out a bit. > > Can anyone suggest some albums- not nec. holiday but thats OK too, in this > same vein?
