I have seen this one once, but see ones for Chase and Citicorp more often. It is just another form of phishing. No actual organization will send an e-mail to ask for such information. All of those credit and on line industries want people to make changes exclusively on their secure serves. dce -----Original Message----- From: audities-owner@smoe.org [mailto:audities-owner@smoe.org]On Behalf Of Brian Kassan Sent: Thursday, November 11, 2004 12:53 PM To: audities@smoe.org Subject: Ebay scam email I just received an email that seems bogus. It's from eBay: TKO NOTICE: Pay your fees to eBay.com It says I owe $ to them, which I don't, and asks you to click on a link within 24 hours where they ask for your debit card. It says you will be suspended if you don't pay. It looks real, but I reported it to eBay. Anyone else get this email? It's got to be a hoax. Brian --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
