Good afternoon, all. I'm thrilled to let you all know that my Pure Pop radio show is coming back to a streaming audio receptacle near you! In case you don't know, Pure Pop was a show that I did for six years, the last show airing in December of 2000. I'm itching to start anew; your favorite pure pop music is in hand and I'm ready to set those CD players in motion. If you're a fan of melodic pop, and you love harmonies, you'll love Pure Pop (at least I hope you will)! The first show will probably be Saturday, November 13--a week from this Saturday, from 12-1 pm EST (the show will air every Saturday at that time). You can listen by going to http://www.fcac.org and clicking on the WEBR logo beneath the picture of the DJ. This will take you to a page that has a "Listen Now" button. Click that, and you're in. (There will also be a link from the home page on my buhdge site.) The show will be one hour instead of two; I'll try to pack as much of the best pop from from the 1960s to today into each one. There will be an area on the buhdge site with show playlists and other show information; look for it after the first show airs. Stay tuned for live interviews and other surprises. I'm about as excited as I can be to get back doing this show. People ask me about it all the time, and now, finally, I can tell them they can once again listen. I was at the station last night with my wife, who found it hard to pull me out of the studio! I am once again home. Hope you will listen. I'll post firm details of the first show date, but for now, it looks good for 11/13, and every Saturday afternoon thereafter, from 12-1 pm EST. By the way, there's a webcam in the studio, so look for my mug! Thanks! Alan http://www.buhdge.com
