"Splendid" (Angie Hart and Jesse Tobias) release their first new material in
almost five years, with an EP set for release on Popboomerang Records in mid
November.



The as-yet-to-be-titled EP will feature six tracks, including a track penned
by Angie's Frente cohort Simon Austin, another co-written with Ben Lee as
well as a Pet Shop Boys cover. Tracks were produced by Jesse and Angie, with
mixes by Victor Van Vugt (PJ Harvey, Beth Orton) and J. Walker of Machine
Translations.

While Jesse continues touring as guitarist for Morrissey well into 2005.
Angie will return to Australia in support of the EP, with shows in Sydney,
Melbourne and Newcastle.

Saturday December 18th - Vic on The Park - Sydney
Wednesday Decmember 22nd - Manchester Lane - Melbourne
