I saw Barenaked Ladies in Cleveland on the Maroon tour. They asked the crowd if anyone knew how to play guitar (they often bring crowd members on stage to sing, dance, or whatever). As fate would have it, someone in the front said yes, so they brought him onstage and asked what he could play -- and he said he knew "It's All Been Done" -- everything but the lead guitar solo. The guitarist stold the audience that if the fan was good they'd let him play for about 20 seconds, and if he sucked they'd immediately pull the plug. Well, BNL launched into the song and the fan nailed it. The guitarist gave him a real big s*%t eating grin and two thumbs way up... and when the song progressed to the solo, the guitarist stood behind the fan, pushed his arms under and through the fan's arms, and played the solo on the guitar while behind the fan's back. Then after the solo, he pulled away and let the fan continue through to the end. A big standing O for the fan and a fun concert moment...
