The "Idol" bug has hit down under too!.  We are bombarded 3 nights a 
week with repeats of crazy performances, judges bagging contestants and 
a lot of commercial fodder getting a spot on prime time Tv.  So it was 
with much surprise/pleasure that one of the final 12 contestants on 
series 2 of Australian Idol ripped out a tasty version of Badfingers 
"No Matter What" for the "pop" category.  A little closer look at the 
contenstant Courtney Murphy's history reveals he's a member of long 
time pop rock  group Murphy's Lore who have released a couple of pop 
laced CD's over the past 10 years.  Let's hope he pulls out a couple of 
other pop nuggets.
