Happy Sunday, folks. Just wanted to let you know about a few new additions to
my new pop culture web site, buhdge (http://www.buhdge.com): an in-depth
review, just posted, of an Aware/Columbia Wheat sampler and the band's latest
album, so close..., a review of a tremendous album by Washington state popper
Regan Lane, and a remembrance by Gary Pig Gold of his first records. The links
page has also been updated, and there's much more to come!

Gary was kind enough to send me his lovely remembrance, which I thought went
well with my autobiographical series, My First Record Player and Other
Stories. I quite like the personal touch, and I'm always interested in
learning about a person's first records or record player, or concert, or
choose-your-first-musical memories, so I'm opening a new area of the site,
called "buhdge remembers," to site readers.

If you'd like to contribute a story detailing your first musical memories,
such as your first records or concert, etc., please do, and please keep it to
500 words or less. I'll publish the best of what I receive in the buhdge
remembers section. I think this will be fun, and I'm looking forward to seeing
what you have to say!
