There have been several occasions when I've had band members approach me after a show and tell me how much they appreciated seeing me singing along. Especially at lightly attended shows, when I imagine they must wonder why they bother. There can be other benefits as well. At the Cotton Mather show I attended in 1997, Robert Harrison forgot the words of one of his own songs. He looked at me, read my lips, and figured out what he was supposed to be singing. Robert R.
