When I saw 'em in '65, they opened with Do You Wanna Dance. Denny sang from behind
the drums, with Mike Love serving as "mic stand"

Saw a bit of film from one of the Cow Palace gigs. No Brian, but David Marks and
Al are in the band. At one point Al is playing drums!! It's silent film, so I
couldn't tell ya what they were playing
