For me.......nope, there will never be another group like the Beatles nor
will there ever be better music for me than '60s music although I'm hoping
there will be and I'm keeping an open mind.  It's not a question of letting
it go.  It's just that we are overly spoiled.  I love the new music and my
taste is very wide music-wise.  The only thing I really don't like is rap.
I think if I had an oldies internet station or show, I'd want to play
everything from the '50s to the aughts (oughts??).......but my heart is with
the older music that I grew up with.  I think it's normal to feel that way.
I don't live my life in the past (you have to move forward or life passes
you by), but musically the Beatles and the '60s were the greatest for me
IMHO....and we're all entitled to our opinions.  Great thread,
Miguel......this is the kind of topic we SHOULD be discussing here because
everybody can get involved whether they agree or not.   I still have a bunch
of my old Beatles memorabilia, too.  And, I have a lot of 45's with picture
sleeves....very cool!
