too bad about the austin show...

i got to see the first show here in Vancouver.... wow...
nice venue (the Orpheum)... great sound... one of
the best shows i've seen in a while (i had never seen
either one in concert before, not even Crowded House)
.... i don't know if they've been doing it since, but
watch for Neil's son to pop up here and there playing guitar
and percussion in the background (you have to really keep
an eye out as it's not mentioned)...

the new album is amazing, but as always, the songs always
sound better live.... worth the money to see great songwriting
in action.... really inspiring show...

and Tim Finn/Dave Rave - separated at birth or what??

altho my day job is at their label, i have nothing to do
with marketing/publicity or anything like that - i just make
the cds :)  and what a nice cd it is, too.... beautiful packaging
on uncoated paper... all the lyrics! great stuff....
