Certainly...more beer at IPO is always good. For the audience AND for the club. I just got a lovely message from Mr. Hillis, he held up his cell phone during Ken's set. I couldn't hear what he was playing, but it did feel like I was right there. Ah...and to think just a few short years ago, the holding up of cell phones at concerts bugged the crap out of me. I was still bugged, but not as much since I was on the receiving end. Speaking of TallBoy Artists opening for Ken Stringfellow, Kenny Howes is opening for him for his Los Angeles date. Hotel Cafe Sun. Aug. 9 Be there. It's small and Kenny (and Ken) need to feel the love. 1623 1/2 N. Cahuenga Blvd. Kenny is on at 9, Ken on at 10. Oh, and didya all know Kenny has a NEW cd out?? It's called Lady Friend http://www.kennyhowes.com for more info.
