Hey Arthur This is timely that you posted about used cds in the L.A. area. I'm toying with having a pop cd swap at my house some time in the near future. I have a lot of pop cds I got through Not Lame or wherever, and they aren't floating my boat anymore, but I know they are great cds. Unfortunately, there are so many unknown pop bands out there, I don't think I'd get much cash at Amoeba or Aron's or any of those places. How can they buy it if they've never heard of it??!! So, I was gonna have an informal party thing, everyone bring discmans if you have them, and we'll all lay out our stuff and listen and swap, or sell cheaply to each other. Ideally about 10 people with at least 20 cds to swap would be cool. Anyone in the L.A. area who is interested, drop me a line.
