Judy, yes, I think many here would have heard but I have to say it was a HUGE epiphany for me too when I first heard it about 6 years ago. I went nuts! I listened to it over and over and over. It IS amazing. If you like that - have you heard the Wondermints album - The Wonderful World of the Wondermints - they cover several should have been hits (and one definite hit - Abba's "Knowing Me, Knowing You" - one of my all time favorite songs) and include a great cover of "Guess I'm Dumb". The closest I've come to the "Guess I'm Dumb" experience recently was hearing a song performed by Nino Tempo called "Boy's Town (Where My Broken Hearted Buddies Go" which I discovered on a wonderful compilation called "Phil's Spectre: A Wall of Soundalikes" (http://members.tripod.com/~jackiedeshannon/jdsas021504.html) . I love it - and you probably would too! -craig -----Original Message----- From: Judy B [mailto:HeyJude@socal.rr.com] Sent: Wednesday, July 21, 2004 9:49 AM To: audities@smoe.org Subject: Glen Campbell - Guess I'm Dumb... Has anybody else heard this great song...Guess I'm Dumb by Glen Campbell? One of my friends just let me hear it and it's wonderful. This was a song that was produced for Glen Campbell by Brian Wilson back in the '60s before Glen went on to do "By the Time I Get To Phoenix" and other songs. I just love it. I would imagine most of you have already heard it. Judy
