A couple of other people have said equally damning things about "Another
Postcard," I think.  Why the antipathy towards this song?  Is it the
unashamed goofiness, something they haven't really indulged in on record
since GORDON?  Given that that's what first attracted them to me, I think
of "Another Postcard" as being kind of a nod to their roots.  Plus it's got
a great chorus.  I can see why it might seem slight next to a song like
"War On Drugs" or "Testing 1-2-3" (my personal favorite on the whole album,
partially because it sounds to me like it's at least partially about the
audience that latched onto "One Week" and then moved on and the band's
ambivalance about trying to chase them back), but I've always appreciated
the silliness.
