I still have a great photo of Beatle Bob from SXSW 2002 that was taken with 
a group of friends. One of my friends who was visiting really wanted to have 
a photo taken with him. He has this goofy smirk on his face and is giving 
the "thumbs up" sign.
Every SXSW, I also play a version of "Where's Beatle Bob ?" It's more like, 
"Of all the showcases I go to, at how many will Beatle Bob make an 
appearance ?" He stays through the very end of SXSW including Sunday's night 
Fuzz Club showcase. He acted as an MC of sorts this year, claiming that most 
of the out of towners were missing the best part of the festival ! Last 
year, he was also in town at the Austin City Limits Festival. I recall him 
dancing onstage during the Old 97s set.
