The almighty Consonant (led by Burma bassist Clint Conley), the mediocre
Read Yellow (derivative and emo-ish), the just-alright Love Scene
(Beachwood Sparks with slightly better tunes) and the really quite good
Gerling (garage electronica, basically, not unlike what was being called
electroclash for about five minutes last year), along with some other bands
i haven't heard.
