i remember the 'Real Don Steele"!  forgot all about it, 'til now...  and KHJ- was that top-40?  waan't ther also a KHJ-TV?  if so, remind me what kina shows they aired?

Theres another great aircheck on reelradio featuring Steve Goddard (who now
does the syndicated oldies show "Goddard's Gold") on WFAA in Dallas in 1976
when they ran a short-lived Top 40 format. The station was only a few weeks
from going Talk/News and the guy puts on a great show anyway. Chicago,
Silver's
"Wham Bang Shang-A-Lang" KC, Rod Stewart's "You Wear It Well", KISS' "Beth",
Earth Wind & Fire's "Getaway", Beach Boys "It's OK"... a great combination of
cheese and classic pop.
