The general public has always associated Freddy as THE lead singer of Queen -
and if you look at their biggest worldwide hits Freddy was always the lead
singer on every one. Brian and Roger had good voices but Freddy's charismatic
voice cut through the airwaves like a switchblade and made every listener pay
attention.

"IIm In Love With My Car" was the b-side of the "Bohemian Rapsody" 45 so
millions upon millions heard it, but its strange its always been
overlooked. It
really should be a classic rock radio staple. 

Brian's "Long Away" was issued as a single here in America in June1977 on
Elektra - but it failed to chart which is strange because "Somebody To Love"
hit #13 and "Tie Your Mother Down" made it to #49 in Billboard. The USA was
the
only country where it was issued as a A-side. I always thought "Mustafa" could
have been a single here in the USA - just to screw with Top 40 programmers
heads.

Another favorite B-side is "Flick Of The Wrist" which was the flip of "Killer
Queen" and I think it has a different mix or edit than the LP version.
